Hercules Sealing Products is committed to supplying products of the highest quality while conforming to the standards required by the Quality Manual and the requirements of our customers.  The Quality Manual is written to document the quality policy and the quality system at Hercules Sealing Products, Inc. The purpose of this quality system is to achieve customer satisfaction through the prevention and detection of any nonconformity during assembly and distribution.  It applies to all activities performed at Hercules Sealing Products, Inc., Corporate facility. The quality system provisions are designed to assure compliance with the requirements defined in ANSI/ISO/ASQ Q9001-2000 revision. The requirements specified in the Quality Manual are complementary to any contractual obligations and are to be used in union with such requirements. 

The Quality Manager is authorized to develop, direct, and implement a quality system that conforms to the requirements stated in this quality manual.  Included in his authority is the authorization to halt any violations of the quality standards of this organization. The Quality Manager will also serve as the management representative and have the responsibility and authority as defined by Q9001, section 5.5.2.

It is the policy of Hercules Sealing Products that the seals, seal kits, components, and other products supplied to worldwide customers will be of the highest quality and under strict control of a continually improving quality system. The President and corporate management are responsible for all quality functions and the departmental processes for full compliance with this manual.  Additionally, all employees are responsible for quality improvement and will be continually trained in quality disciplines and processes. The suppliers to Hercules Sealing Products will be rated and selected based on the quality of their products, processes, and attention to corrective action.
