The PU-TDA tandem seal has a urethane sealing lip with a PTFE insert secondary sealing lip. Under increasing pressure, the inner seal acts to compress the PTFE slide ring onto the cylinder bore. This action creates a high force sealing edge of low-frictional resistance. These are genuine Hunger® parts.
